Something to be thankful for may it be for the past or present

It’s quarter of six in the afternoon and I’m here at our rooftop witnessing this beautiful masterpiece.

Lulling myself into deep thoughts of loneliness. Thinking about life and growing up. Terrified of what the fast-pacing future might bring.

Looking back, I come to appreciate the gifts He has given. I was never worth any of these blessings. I am a sinner—I was never an angel to anyone, yet He continued to bless me. I feel sorry for asking more and appreciating less.

Now, I just wanted to grow holistically—experience and discover new things. Aiming to be happy all of the time—to be happy even if things don’t go as planned.

Indeed, there is always something to thank God for, may it be for the past or the present.
